What if you could learn to remain calm and clear even in stormy times?
Resilience – what keeps you grounded when everything is in motion
Sometimes life is quiet – and sometimes loud.
Sometimes everything is going well – and then comes a moment that throws everything out of balance: a team conflict, the loss of a job, a separation, an illness, a new role in life. Critical life events like these can upset even the most stable people.
This has nothing to do with weakness – but with being a normal human being.
The good news is that resilience can be trained. Resilience is the ability to deal with stress, crisis, and change in a healthy, flexible, and self-directed way. It helps us stay focused in challenging times, gain clarity, set priorities, and take care of ourselves – without burning out.
As a concept, resilience is closely related to positive psychology and the idea of salutogenesis: the focus is not on deficits, but on resources, meaning, development – and the question: How can I stay healthy and functional even in difficult times?
Or, as Robert Louis Stevenson said:
“Life is not about having good cards, but about living a good life with a bad hand.”
Why resilience is so important nowadays
Our world is fast-paced, complex, and often unpredictable. In this context, resilience is no longer an “additional skill” but a key resource – for people, teams and organizations.
Resilience helps you:
- to deal with stress and uncertainty more calmly
- to consciously manage your energy
- to remain capable of acting, even in conflicts
- to make clearer decisions
- to stay with yourself when things get tough on the outside
Especially in responsible roles – whether at work or in private life – resilience becomes a supporting force. It enables not only stability, but also development.
My formats to strengthen resilience
Keynote speeches – impulses for teams, managers and organizations
Would you like to raise awareness of the topic of resilience in your company – e.g. at management events, health days or team events?
In my presentations, I show what resilience is, why it is so important in today’s workplace – and how to build it. Lively, practical and scientifically based. An ideal introduction for anyone who wants more than just knowledge transfer.
Workshops – experience and deepen resilience in practice
My workshops are designed for organizations that want to strengthen their teams or leaders. Participants learn about key resilience factors, reflect on their own resources, and try out specific methods for self-management and emotional self-regulation.
The workshops offer a protected space for exchange, reflection and reinforcement – always with a view to transferring this into everyday working life.
Individual coaching – individual resilience support
For managers, employees and private individuals who want to work on their personal resilience – e.g. in dealing with stress, role conflicts, change processes or to strengthen self-confidence and boundaries.
Among other things, I work with the Zurich Resource Model ZRM®, which is scientifically based and promotes sustainable self-efficacy.
What you can take away
- More inner peace, clarity and self-confidence
- A more conscious approach to stress and pressure
- Practical tools for self-management and self-care
- New perspectives and a stronger focus on solutions
- More freedom to act, self-efficacy and courage for the future
